Framed Papilio Lowi (Great Yellow Morman)

Papilio lowi, or the Great Yellow Mormon, is a swallowtail butterfly from the Philippines and Borneo named after naturalist Hugh Low. Its "Mormon" nickname stems from the male's tendency to mate with various females that look strikingly different from one another—a trait known as polymorphism. Interestingly, these females often survive by mimicking the wing patterns of toxic species to scare off hungry birds.
